Medicare Part A

Part A is commonly known as hospital insurance. The chart outlines several of the costs that may apply to inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing care, hospice care, and other Part A-covered services.

Medicare Part B

Part B is commonly known as medical insurance. The chart outlines the annual deductible, the general 80% and 20% cost-sharing structure, and other costs that may apply to doctors, outpatient care, tests, supplies, and covered medical services.
